What if I don't know the password?

PDFWrangle can't help with that: it only removes a password you already know. Ask the person or organization that sent the file.

Does unlocking change the document?

Why is my password rejected?

Passwords are case-sensitive, so check Caps Lock and look for extra spaces. If it still fails, confirm it with whoever sent the file.
