No. Pages are copied as they are, so text stays selectable and images are untouched.

How are the split files named?

Each part keeps the original name plus its pages, for example report-pages-1-5.pdf, so the ZIP stays in order.

Can I split a password-protected PDF?

Unlock it first with Unlock PDF using the password you already have, then split the unlocked copy.

Is there a file size limit?
